Glasgow man transported to Vanderbilt for injuries following crash

Aug. 21--A Glasgow man was flown to Nashville on Tuesday for medical treatment following a wreck at the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop and West Main Street.
According to a Glasgow Police Department news release, David A. Norris, of Glasgow was driving a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder northbound on Veterans Outer Loop when he attempted to stop at the traffic light at the intersection.
Norris attempted to brake but said his brakes were not working and he was unable to stop, striking a 2004 Chevy Blazer driven by Raymond Colello of Glasgow, the news release said.
Colello was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center for medical treatment. Norris was transferred by Barren-Metcalfe EMS for injuries he sustained and was cited for failure to maintain required insurance.
