The Federal Reserve left rates unchanged at its April meeting and suggested it would not be raising them anytime soon. The Federal Reserve pledged on Wednesday to do what it could to insulate the economy as coronavirus lockdowns took a severe toll on economic growth, underlining that it would keep interest rates near zero until a recovery was well underway.
