Eric Furtado Joins Western National Insurance Group

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., Nov. 28 -- Western National Insurance Group, a property and casualty insurance company, issued the following news release:

Western National Insurance Group today announced the hiring of Eric Furtado as Vice President of Agency Sales, based in the company's Edina, Minn. office. In this role, Eric will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities as well as management of the group's Regional Agency Manager team.

Eric joins Western National with over 15 years of industry experience. Most recently, Eric was Vice President of Personal Lines Underwriting at QBE, where he successfully managed a staff underwriting over $750 million in personal lines premium. Prior to joining QBE, Eric had multiple supervisory responsibilities on the direct side at GEICO in the Washington D.C. area.
