Today's brokers are facing challenges brought about by a rapidly changing business climate and its effect on their clients as their needs and expectations change. As a result, brokers need to refocus, supporting their clients beyond benefits. Here are four ways brokers can refocus their efforts.

Many of today's HR departments are small, so brokers should work closely with them to manage and maintain processes and efficiencies.
  3. Master using an online benefits administration platform. An online benefits administration platform is the perfect way to assist HR departments achieve cost- and time-savings by streamlining the entire process. Brokers who become proficient with platforms such as these have an edge over their competition to partner with employers and offer employees a positive experience when it comes to comprehending and managing their benefits.
  4. Constantly reevaluate packages. Brokers should always be carefully examining the current insurance packages available on the market, taking note of what works and what does not. Call medical providers to confirm their participation in plans.
