Cody Koletic Receives CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ CFP® Designation
To earn the CFP® designation, one must complete educational requirements, have adequate financial planning experience, pass a comprehensive exam, and maintain a high standard of ethics. Additionally, once one is certified, CFP® practitioners are required to maintain technical competence and fulfill ethical obligations. Every two years, they must complete a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education, staying current with developments in the financial planning profession to better serve their clients.
While just about anyone can claim the title "financial planner", it is important to distinguish that not all financial planners are "certified". Only those who have fulfilled CFP Board's rigorous requirements can call themselves a CFP® professional.
CFP Board is a nonprofit professional regulatory organization founded in 1985 to benefit the public by fostering professional standards in personal financial planning. An independent certifying organization, CFP Board owns the marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
