BUSINESS BRIEFS – Risner is WRG vice president of insurance operations

Kay Risner has been promoted to vice president of insurance operations, effective Jan. 1, at Western Reserve Group in Wooster.
She will assume oversight of underwriting, business operations and strategic development. Most recently, she served as assistant vice president of strategic development where she managed pricing and product development initiatives. She also was responsible for coordinating various WRG system initiatives and agency web technology projects.
Risner began her career with Western Reserve Group in 1996 as a personal lines underwriter. She has held various other positions since that time including personal lines underwriting manager, senior product analyst and product development manager.
"Kay brings extensive P&C insurance experience coupled with 25 years of exemplary WRG management service to our executive team," said Western Reserve Group President a d CEO Kevin W. Day.

Andrew Minnick, territory manager CL UW in the Marketing Department.
