BRIEF: Chesterfield woman involved in Brattleboro crash Saturday
Keene Sentinel (NH)
Sept. 06--BRATTLEBORO -- A Chesterfield resident was one of two people injured in a single-car crash on Sunset Lake Road Saturday.
Kara Surridge, 33, of Chesterfield and her passenger, who was not identified, suffered minor injuries, and the passenger was taken by ambulance to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, according to a news release from Brattleboro police.
An investigation by police determined Surridge was driving a Chevrolet Avalanche north on Sunset Lake Road when the vehicle left the road about 110 yards south of where it stopped, the news release said.
Police cited Surridge for leaving the scene of an accident and issued her a Vermont civil violation complaint for driving without liability insurance.
No further information was available from Brattleboro police by press time this morning.
