AM Best Senior Managing Director to Address ICMIF Biennial Conference

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AM Best Senior Managing Director Andrea Keenan will act as chair and guest speaker for the conference session, titled, “Meeting Key Challenges, Building Competitive Advantage,” at the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF) Biennial Conference, which is scheduled for Nov. 12-15, 2019, in Auckland, New Zealand.

Keenan’s presentation will include a broader view of advances that are likely to affect the global insurance industry, along with changes that are anticipated in society, the economy, risk management, in the insurance industry’s business models and specifically for the cooperative/mutual insurance sector. Keenan will moderate the panel of expert speakers. The panel is scheduled for 9 a.m. local time on Thursday, Nov. 14.

Keenan heads up strategy and communications for AM Best and oversees its relationships and communications with insurance and financial service industries throughout the Americas, including the United States, Latin America, Canada and the Caribbean.

The theme of the conference—The future of mutuality—will drive an agenda that focuses on the future of the customer-owned model in insurance and how ICMIF members are creating a sustainable, competitive advantage.
