LANCASTER, S.C. — Twenty-five years ago, two ambitious women took a leap of faith and embarked on a new chapter by founding the Alpine Agency in Lancaster.
On Sept. 15, 1999 — the same day Hurricane Floyd struck the Carolinas — Jane Rinard and Charlotte Smith began their journey as independent insurance agents.
Sitting at Rinard's dining room table, they anticipated an exciting new journey in the health insurance industry, a future where they could positively impact their community by offering dependable and accessible health insurance solutions.
Fast forward to today, and the Alpine Agency Health Insurance has grown into a thriving, trusted local business.
Alpine's office, located at 699 S.C. 9 Bypass East in Lancaster, beside Mully's Restaurant, welcomes appointments and walk-ins, as well as phone consultations.
It specializes in health insurance for senior adults, individual and families Marketplace coverage and employer group health plans.
Rinard and Smith continue to provide expert, personalized service to their clients. They maintain their commitment to putting their customers' best interest first, offering local expertise and nearly four decades of industry experience. They understand that navigating health insurance can be overwhelming and are happy to provide guidance, clarity and peace of mind to their clients.
As they celebrate this milestone, Rinard and Smith look forward to continuing to serve the community they care so deeply about.
