Akin Gump Named a Two-Time Finalist for 2020 Eddy Awards

WASHINGTON, Jan. 24 -- Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld, a law firm, issued the following news release:
Akin Gump has been named a finalist for its financial/retirement plan campaigns last year in two separate categories of Pensions & Investments' 2020 Eddy Awards. The Eddy Awards are an annual program honoring plan sponsors and service providers "that exhibit best practices in offering investment and financial education to defined contribution plan participants."
The first category, financial wellness, recognizes efforts "that take a holistic view of employees' financial well-being outside of traditional retirement programs."
The second category, investment education, recognizes plans that educate existing employees "on the investment options of a new or modified plan, or new employees about investment options of an existing plan."
Winners of the awards will be announced at P&I's annual East Coast Defined Contribution Conference in March.
