AIA Issues Statement on Director Huff’s Resignation

WASHINGTON, Dec. 12 -- The American Insurance Association issued the following statement by President and CEO Leigh Ann Pusey in response to the resignation of Missouri Insurance Director John Huff. Appointed in 2009 by Governor Jay Nixon, Huff also is the outgoing president of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC):
"AIA thanks Director John Huff for his service to our industry and leadership of the Missouri Department of Insurance and the NAIC.
"Director Huff was a tough but fair regulator and a strong and impressive leader in his various roles at the NAIC.
