Former TV anchorman Claus Kleber, known to viewers in Germany as the host of the ZDF news programme "heute journal", is scheduled to speak at adesso digital day in Düsseldorf on 2 June. In his keynote address entitled "How Silicon Valley Controls the Destiny of the Human Race", the respected journalist will examine the significance of digitalisation for society as a whole. In addition to this highlight, speeches by experts and demonstrations of the latest IT solutions will offer a look at today's most important IT and business issues. The event is geared towards decision makers from all industries.

At this year's digital day on 2 June in Düsseldorf, the IT service provider plans to tackle one of the most pressing matters today: sustainability. In his keynote address entitled "Our Frenzied Future - How Silicon Valley Controls the Destiny of the Human Race", famed TV journalist Claus Kleber will address the societal implications of IT and discuss his latest report, which examines the development and impact of the tech trends from the US. Kleber is particularly interested in the significance of modetechnology for humankind and argues that "engineers and venture capitalists should not have the final say about technical developments that change our society as a whole".
