A New Article Presents U.S. Car Accidents Statistics and Explains How It Affects Auto Insurance Costs!

PR Newswire iReach

LOS ANGELES, April 27, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Lowestcarinsuranceratesonline.com has released a new blog post presenting 2015 U.S. car accidents statistics. The blog post also explains how these accidents affect auto insurance premiums.

In 2015 the number of fatal car crashes has increased, according to reports from the  the National Highway Traffic Administration (NHTSA) and the National Safety Council (NSC). Statistics show that  2015 will shape up to have the most car-related deaths in the U.S. since 2007. This is a worrying development that will have a considerable impact on insurance costs.

Agencies rely heavily on statistics from the NHTSA and NSC to determine coverage costs. In 2016, the gas price continues to be low and more people can afford to drive. This only increases the risk of a road collision and agencies respond to high risks with higher prices. An agency has to make sure that insuring a driver is profitable. This is why they use statistics to measure insurability risks.

The newly released article provides some additional data about road accidents in 2015:

"Motor-vehicle deaths for January through June of 2015 totaled 18,630. This figure is up 14% from the corresponding 6-month period in 2014. The June figure for 2015 was up 12% from the 2013 figure.

The 6-month total for 2014 was 16,400, a 1% decrease from 2013. The 2013 figure was 5% lower than 2012. The estimated annual population death rate is 12.5 deaths per 100,000 population, up 13% from the preliminary 2014 rate of 11.1. The estimated annual mileage death rate is 1.3 deaths per 100 million vehicle miles traveled, up 8% from the preliminary 2014 rate of 1.2."

Clients can keep their auto insurance prices low by comparing online car insurance quotes. This can be done online, on a single website: http://www.lowestcarinsuranceratesonline.com/. Here, drivers can quickly analyze and qualify for the best coverage options in their areas.

"Comparing auto insurance quotes is the best way to keep auto insurance premiums low, regardless of where you live." said Russell Rabichev, Marketing Director of Internet Marketing Company.
