A.M. Best Senior Managing Director to Address ICMIF Américas 2018 Event in Colombia

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- A.M. Best Senior Managing Director Andrea Keenan will discuss the potential impact technology will have on the insurance industry over the next 25 years during a presentation at ICMIF Américas 26th Annual Conference, which is scheduled for Nov. 19-21, 2018, in Cartagena, Colombia.

Keenan’s presentation, which will be part of a session, titled, “InsurTech: Revolutionizing Insurance from Within,” will include a broader view of the technological advances that are likely to affect the global insurance industry, along with changes that are anticipated in society, the economy, risk management, and ultimately, in the insurance industry’s business models. Her presentation is scheduled for 9 a.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

This year’s conference will focus on how cooperative and mutual insurers can future-proof their businesses to ensure sustainable competitiveness and the ability to remain resilient in an ever-changing world. It will be held at the Hilton Cartagena Hotel. A.M. Best will sponsor the welcome reception at 7 p.m. local time on Monday, Nov. 19.
