Telematics Berlin: Siemens, Santander, Continental, and Local Government Join Mobility & Smart City Debates

(PRWEB) April 30, 2015

As the biggest European Connected Car Data event you can expect to see automakers, tier 1 & 2 suppliers, government institutions and CE-players converge around the topic of car data. This year will host an exclusive panel on Finish mobility initiative MAAS. See Siemens, ITS Finland, Tampere University and German Municipal Transport body, VBB, discuss how they are working towards an all-inclusive mobility platform. Next, examining how big data will enable this type of platform, will be Continental and Zurich Insurance, on a panel dedicated to Data & the Car of tomorrow. Finally, adding the last piece to our mobility puzzle, Siemens will take to the stage alongside Santander to examine the Smart City and the initiatives they are undertaking to promote it.

Gareth Ragg, Head of Global Operations at TU-Automotive, said that this year's smart city and mobility panels "…show us how the recent growth in data has sped forward some of the discussions we were only touching on a few years ago. I think our audience will be really excited to see, for the first time, how they can fit into the smart cities of the future."

Telematics Berlin - Automotive Data enables a new frontier of technology

Based in Europe'sSilicon Valley, Telematics Berlin brings together the key players, from automakers all the way to start-ups, to debate both the opportunities and threats that the big data revolution has brought to the car.
