Support for The National LTCI Sales Training Conference Exceeding Expectations

NASHVILLE, TN and ATLANTA, GA - February 28 - The National LTCI Sales Training Conference thanks those organizations that are supporting the long-term care insurance industry's first and only program dedicated exclusively to the advancement and development of long-term care insurance sales skills. Instrumental in support of The National LTCI Sales Training Conference's efforts have been insurance carriers Prudential, Penn Treaty Network America, MedAmerica, MetLife, Physicians Mutual, and Mutual of Omaha as well as industry leaders such as the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), the Society of Certified Senior Advisors (CSA) and the Corporation for Long-Term Care Certification (CLTC).
"We are enthused by the tremendous support we are receiving," said Phyllis Shelton, president of LTC Consultants and one of the featured speakers for The National LTCI Sales Training Conference. "The support has been beyond our expectations and the momentum is continuing to build. What this shows is that forward-thinking organizations in the long-term care insurance industry recognize that we have to band together for the betterment of all. We'll even talk about creating a 'Blue Ocean Strategy' for the LTCI industry to unlock new demand. If we can do that and help salespeople become more effective at what they do, because they are the industry's front line, everyone will benefit - and that includes consumers first and foremost."
Phillip W. Sullivan, president of SellingLTC.com and featured speaker for The National LTCI Sales Training Conference agreed. "These organizations recognize the importance of The National LTCI Sales Training Conference within the industry," Sullivan said. "They understand that we share a common goal which is to provide training that touches and improves every aspect of a salesperson's career. It's not just about selling LTCI; it's about becoming a more proficient salesperson and developing a better understanding of sales suitability issues. To that end, if your challenge is getting in front of people you will learn how to prospect and secure new clients. If you want to improve your presentation and closing skills or learn new ones we will help with that. If you want to discover how to break self-defeating habits and replace them with winning behavior, we'll explore that as well."
Shelton and Sullivan emphasize that this event will offer something for everyone, novices and veterans alike. "Attendees will leave with everything needed to present and close long-term care insurance more effectively regardless of whether he or she is a beginner or a seasoned veteran, and these skills are transferable to all product lines," Shelton said. "And with a special session on getting referrals in the 'do-not-call' era by America's Referral Coach, Bill Cates, attendees will leave equipped with the skills to make the most of every sales appointment."
It is also expected that with the recent passage of legislation to curtail Medicaid planning as well as allow nationwide State LTCI Partnership Plans, there has never been a better time to prepare for the tremendous sales opportunity that lies ahead. "This legislation could be the very thing that propels LTCI sales to the level the industry has been anticipating," said Sullivan.
The National LTCI Sales Training Conference will take place at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel April 24th through 27th in Nashville, TN. "We chose to host this event in Nashville because we were able to secure top-notch facilities in a great vacation town," Shelton said. "Many of our attendees will come for the Conference and the music and then take in the great sights and sounds of a truly exciting city."
