Six Philadelphia Personal Injury Attorneys from Galfand Berger Law Firm Honored by Super Lawyers in 2011

Four Philadelphia personal injury attorneys from the law firm of Galfand Berger, LLP have been named by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers magazine as top attorneys in the state for 2011. Only five percent of the lawyers in each state are named by Super Lawyers. Another two Philadelphia injury attorneys from the 64-year-old firm were named 2011 Rising Stars, an honor bestowed on only two-and-a-half percent of lawyers under the age of 40.

Arthur L. Bugay, partner, focuses on products liability, construction action litigation, personal injury litigation, negligent security, and employment law. He is an active volunteer for the indigent and provides volunteer legal services for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled.

Marc S. Jacobs, senior partner, concentrates his practice on representing and protecting disabled workers. Marc has lectured throughout the state, and is contributing editor to PBI’s book “Handling a Workers’ Compensation Case.”

Richard M. Jurewicz, senior partner, represents people injured by unsafe products and defective tools, equipment, and machinery. He previously has been selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyer’s list every year since 2004 and has recovered more than $100 million for his clients. He was selected as one of the top 100 lawyers in Pennsylvania and one of the top 100 lawyers in Philadelphia.

Eric J. Swan, senior partner, focuses his practice on motor vehicle litigation. A believer in consumer education, he is a published author and a frequent lecturer on automobile insurance, people's rights after an accident, and insurance company bad faith.
