Sheryl Lewis Joins CCI Financial & Insurance Solutions as Senior Vice President of Business Development Opening CCI’s Stockton, CA Office

San Ramon, CA (PRWEB) April 15, 2011

Continuing to build their presence as one of the fastest growing and largest independent insurance brokerage consulting firms in Northern California, CCI Financial & Insurance Solutions announced today the appointment of Sheryl Lewis as Senior Vice President of Business Development. As part of the addition of Ms. Lewis to CCI, the company continues its expansion with the opening of its fourth location in Stockton, California.

Lewis began her career in 1991 with Daugherty & Company as an account manager. Recognized within her first year for her strong sales background, Lewis launched her career in insurance sales, specializing in Employee Benefits. In January 1995 Barney Mizel, the founder and creator of USI Insurance Services, began USI’s expansion into Northern California with the acquisition of Daugherty and Company.

Teaming again with Barney Mizel, CCI’s CEO, Lewis brings over 20 years of expertise to CCI as one of the industries most recognized producers of Employee Benefits solutions. With a firm commitment to providing customers with world-class service, it is no surprise that she has been awarded numerous Pinnacle Awards, the Heavy Hitter Award, as well as Producer of the Year.

“I am extremely pleased to re-join forces with Sheryl,” said Barney Mizel. “Her reputation as one of the industries most customer centric producers has earned her, not only numerous industry accolades, but a respect amongst her peers. Her integrity and commitment to her customers is evident by the record she holds for one of the highest client retention rates in the industry. Her dedication and philosophy of building long-lasting relationships with clients and partners makes her an ideal fit for the vision and business model of CCI. In addition I am excited to expand CCI’s footprint into Stockton and the surrounding area. We are anxious to continue to provide the strong support for the business community that Sheryl has demonstrated throughout her career.”

Most recently Senior Vice President of Employee Benefits for USI, Lewis’ clients are predominately mid to large size firms in the trucking, manufacturing, retail, construction, banking and financial, and agricultural industries, along with a number of Non-Profit organizations and private schools.

With the current uncertainty in health reform, Lewis has become an industry expert in issues related to compliance, offering her clients the most up to date support in matters related to health care. “I’m excited to join forces with an organization whose leadership is focused on the wellbeing of our customers and the community we serve,” said Lewis.

With a passion for building close-knit partnerships Lewis has developed several business network groups benefiting not only their individual industries, but also the communities in which they serve.

Born in Oakland, California and raised in the Bay Area, Lewis is married and has two adult children and several grandchildren. When not devoting herself to her clients, she enjoys spending her days with her family and pet sheltie, Champ. An avid landscape photographer, Lewis leads a hiking photography group, as well as serving on church boards.
