The Self Employed Insurance Group, the online health insurance sales innovator has promoted the first woman to be named national sales administrator. Allison Feinberg, has earned a masters’ degree from the University of Michigan and worked previously with United Health Care.
Insurance News Net asked Mike Tendler, President of the agency what prompted the promotion. “First of all and to my knowledge Allison is the only female I am aware of to hold this position anywhere in the industry. She (Feinberg) is extremely deserving and capable as a trainer, motivator and administrator. Allison began her sales and sales management career with us and we totally buy into promoting from within the organization.”
Feinberg is expected to expand the agency’s sales staff and increase production by promoting and hiring a management staff in chosen states where their health plans have a competitive edge. “The time is now to grow the major medical side while I concentrate on working on new ways to expedite underwriting and streamlining the online process”, stated Tendler. “Frankly, Allison’s track record on getting the new agents into production within ten days after hire is remarkable and she knows the market place like nobody I know.”
