Portage Mutual extents IT outsourcing agreement with CGI
Apr 12, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Portage La Prairie Mutual Insurance Company, a Canadian mutual insurance company, has extended its contract with CGI Group, a provider of information technology and business process services, until 2014. This agreement will extend the existing infrastructure services outsourcing agreement by five years.
Randy Clark, president of Portage Mutual, said that CGI and Portage Mutual have worked together for close to two decades, with CGI providing a relationship to meet evolving needs. As a result of this extension and ongoing relationship, CGI will provide the operational support to help Portage Mutual in providing reasonably priced, flexible insurance products and by supporting brokers and customers with exemplary service.
