OR Innovation’s New Product Mopzilla Takes Cleaning and Safety in Restaurants to the Highest Level
OR Innovations of
When Mopzilla was introduced to the managers and staff they were very pleased on how versatile this system is when cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, walk in refrigerators, freezers, back bars and dining areas.
After the evaluation period, managers and restaurant staff agreed that this new device works great, making cleaning tasks easier and quicker. Their observations were that by dispensing cleaning fluid and then immediately removing it from the floor, a much safer and less slippery work environment was created. This may reduce slip and falls and lower insurance premiums saving restaurants thousands.
Mopzilla cleans large and small areas quicker and much more effectively than conventional mops, and allows cleaning chemicals to perform much better. This is due to the cleaning solution never being contaminated by double dipping a mop back into the bucket again and again which will weaken a chemicals potency and effectiveness. Mopzilla achieves this by having separate reservoirs for the cleaning agent, and another for the dirty fluids evacuated off the floor. Mopzilla is able to dispense cleaning solution onto the floor and then evacuate over 99% of the fluid into the separate reservoir. Compared to standard string and flat mops the floor is left substantially drier and cleaner, as demonstrated in the independent ATP laboratory tests done with the Mopzilla versus the latest pre-soaked flat and string mops. An additional feature enjoyed by the restaurants was the ability to quickly suck up drink spills, standing water around the ice maker and dish washer. Also important is the ability for Mopzilla to self-sanitize itself and reduce cross contamination from one area of the restaurant to another, such as from the bathroom to the kitchen. The reservoir which collects the absorbed contaminated fluid from the floor can be drained with the flick of a switch into any drain without ever lifting a heavy bucket reducing the possibility of back injuries. The unit is rechargeable and can run continuously for 90 minutes with just a short charge from a standard outlet, or can be run indefinitely when plugged in.
After using the Mopzilla,Greg Georgas owner of the forty plus franchises, has requested that all his restaurants purchase at least one Mopzilla. Georgas says “I believe that a customer makes a decision to return to a restaurant based on good food, and clean bathrooms and kitchens. Our restaurants now sparkle thanks to the Mopzilla.”
Presently there are several cruise lines, grocery stores and hospitals looking to purchase a Mopzilla to keep there facilities cleaner and safer while being cost effective.
