PEOPLE: promotions, appointments and hires

Accounting

Lebanon-based Garcia Garman & Shea PC named Lisa M. Kreiser- Cassel a primary member of its audit team. She will focus on governmental and nonprofit education. She was an auditor with another Lebanon firm and supervised audits for five years with KPMG Peat Marwick in Harrisburg. She is a certified public accountant and a graduate of Penn State University.

Architecture/engineering

San Francisco, Calif.-based URS Corp. named Bradley Newlin manager of its Harrisburg engineering department. He is a senior civil engineer with more than 15 years of experience in stormwater management, floodplain management and environmental permitting. He has a BS and MS in civil engineering from the University of California at Davis. Randy Crispino was named manager of the geosciences department. He has more than 12 years of environmental consulting experience and a BS in environmental science from Drexel University.

Banking/finance

Lower Swatara Township-based Mid-Atlantic Corporate Federal Credit Union named Joe Bertotto chief culture officer of subsidiary My CU Services LLC. He will direct culture-building activities for Mid-Atlantic, as well as other credit unions and industry partners. He has 25 years of leadership and organization development experience and founded consultancy Strengths Life Project.

Construction

RLS Construction Group of Carroll Township named Phillip C. Goth an estimator. He has more than 34 years of construction- management experience, most recently as a senior estimator and director of marketing. He will oversee subcontractor solicitations and management, pricing, risk management and bid administration. Sue Warren was named payroll and benefits administrator. She has more than 30 years of accounting, payroll and employee benefit management experience. Gabriella Vreeland was named a project administrator. She will assist project managers. Lancaster General Health named Nick Dower an acupuncturist with its Image Recovery Center in East Hempfield Township. He will provide acupuncture to patients undergoing cancer treatment to help ease symptoms. He also is employed with Susquehanna Acupuncture in Marietta. He is a graduate of Millersville University and has a master of acupuncture degree from Won Institute of Graduate Studies.

Insurance

Schuylkill County-based The Seltzer Group named Dee Yingst manager of its human resources and employee benefits division. She has 26 years of experience in HR, employee benefits, sales coordination and account management.

Marketing

Lancaster-based Godfrey named Amy Schoeneberger and Tom Gibble account managers. They will manage integrated marketing communications programs for manufacturing clients. Schoeneberger has more than 10 years of experience in project and product management, as well as team leadership and software and Web development. Gibble has more than 25 years of experience in direct marketing, advertising and marketing communications, including 10 years with Armstrong World Industries. He has a BA in German, with minors in business and marketing, from Oral Roberts University. Jim Rittle was named a software developer. He will develop software for client websites, including those in the access equipment and construction industries. He was employed with Lockheed Martin for two years. Nonprofit

Harrisburg-based Modern Transit Partnership elected Matthew G. Boyer, Cheryl L. Love and Linda Plesic to its board. Boyer is executive director of Springettsbury Township-based Commuter Services of Pennsylvania; Love is a principal and studio director with Lititzbased ELA Group; and Plesic is a regional business development manager with Fairview Township-based Century Engineering Inc.

Real estate

Manchester Township-based Investment Real Estate LLC named Colleen Vrankin accounting manager. She will manage day-to-day accounting functions for IRE affiliated companies, as well as banking and treasury, financial reporting and human resources. She has 26 years of experience, most recently as a staffaccountant for a New Freedom company. She has a BS in accounting from York College.

Retail

Lower Swatara Township-based Phillips Office Solutions named Dana Martucci a designer with its workplace interiors division. She will oversee contract furniture projects that require space planning, product and finish selections, color renderings and specifications. She was a designer with W.B. Mason in New York City for six years. She has a bachelor's degree in interior design from Kean University in Union, N.J.

Technology

Harrisburg-based Red Privet named L. Steven Pashley principal experience designer. He has 15 years of design experience and was head of user-experience design and e-commerce with Cadient Group and creative director of user experience and design with Pet360. Christopher Bennett was named principal visual designer. He has more than 10 years of experience as an interactive Web designer for ATX Communications and owner of a freelance design shop, as well as with And1 and Archer Group. Dennis Schleicher was named vice president of research and design. He will oversee dayto- day management of design teams and help refine the company's research and design strategy. He was director of userexperience teams with Sears.
