NAILBA Charitable Foundation Raises Over $150,000 In Two Days
November 24, 2008
(Fairfax, Va.) - The tally is complete! Through events such as the Silent Auction, the Live Auction, and the giveaway of a 1965 Corvette convertible, NAILBA member agencies and company partners demonstrated their continued commitment to the NAILBA Charitable Foundation in grand style. In just two days, the NAILBA Charitable Foundation received over $150,000 in contributions at NAILBA 27, held November 13-15 in San Diego, California.
In the “headline” event for the year, ticket sales for the ’65 Big Block Corvette generated over $65,000 for the Foundation. In an exciting turn of events, the winner of the car drawing, The Marketing Alliance, immediately donated it back to the Foundation for auction, where a winning bid of $62,500 took the car home!
The Foundation once again thanks the Legal & General America Companies, Banner Life and William Penn for its generous support in donating the car this year.
In 2008 the NAILBA Charitable Foundation granted $205,000 to 12 charities. For more information about the NAILBA Charitable Foundation, please contact NAILBA at (703) 383-3081.
