MiddleOak® Launches Autosurance™ Agent Portal using Sword Insurance

BOSTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sword Insurance is proud to announce that MiddleOak® has gone live with AgencyPortal™ and AgencyConnect™ from Sword Insurance for personal auto in Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Agents now have the capability to execute “real time” rating, in both comparative rating environment or proprietary environments, and then choose to bind online directly within MiddleOak®’s new agent portal. This provides an enhanced ease-of-business and efficiency, enabling a straight through process for the agent and client.

AutosuranceTM immediately offers independent insurance agencies a superior and easy-to-use point of sale interface based on the leading portal solution by Sword Insurance, which has been implemented for over ten years with the needs of the agent end-user in mind. Enhanced features include single sign-on for all portal activity, the automatic pre-filling of data from third party services such as driver information and credit scoring, and the capabilities for agents to quickly find their clients with easy search capabilities and to quickly add new clients. Agents may also download printable policy forms from Autosurance™, including the quote proposal, ACORD applications, Supplemental Applications, and Auto ID Cards.
