Marja, a retiree and avid writer, has completed his first book "The Shag, Hag, and the Rag": a lovingly crafted and gorgeously illustrated trek into an exciting new world of imagination.

Oh no, Mrs. Hag used all her milk for baking cookies! Now it looks like she will have to go to Mr. Albert's store to fetch some more for her breakfast across the icy pond. Shag her beloved dog, was nudged out by Mrs. Hag to his dog house with his old smelly raggedy blanket that Mrs. Hag could no longer stand the smell of. Snuggling up nice and warm with his raggedy blanket, Shag hears Mrs. Hag's voice in distress. Shag quickly strikes into action to help his suffering owner. In this touching story, The Shag, Hag, and the Rag, the reader will be inspired by Shag's heroic actions. Shag shows humbleness towards his owner when she thanks him in each and every way she can!

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Marja's vibrant new story is a classic childhood escapade filled with lovable characters and a heartwarming message. The story is written in such a common language that if you read it to your dog, he'd understand and appreciate it.

Readers who wish to experience this wonderful work can purchase "The Shag, Hag, and the Rag" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
