Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation Welcomes New Board Member Ron Beckman

The Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation announced the election of Ronald Beckman, CPA, JD, LLM, partner at Drucker & Scaccetti and Drucker Beckman Sobel, LLP, to the Foundation Board of Directors.

Focusing on business and tax issues since 1974, Ronald Beckman has developed a broad background in tax and financial planning for both businesses and individuals. In his practice, he consults with nonprofit organizations, business and health care organizations, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts and individuals. Ron has an extensive history of successfully representing clients in adversary proceedings with federal, state and local tax authorities.

Prior to joining Drucker & Scacetti in 1992, Ron worked as a tax partner in the Philadelphia office of Laventhol & Horwath and served as the tax director of a local accounting firm. He also taught courses on the taxation of S corporations and nonprofit corporations in the Villanova Law School Graduate Tax Program, where he served as an adjunct faculty member for several years. In addition to his tax consulting practice, Ron is also a partner in the law firm of Drucker Beckman Sobel, LLP and has appeared as a daily radio commentator on the WPEN radio show, More for Your Money. Ron is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Bar and is licensed to practice before the United States Tax Court.
