Lengal Financial Rewards Safe Drivers With Up to 30 Per Cent Off Future Insurance Premiums With Allstate’s DriveWise Program

PR Web

New York, New York (PRWEB) October 10, 2013

Business Review evaluates Ohio insurance companies’ safety programs and today lists Lengal financial as a top firm promoting and rewarding safe driving habits with Allstate’s DriveWise program. Students practising safe driving behavior will be rewarded with up to 30 per cent off their future insurance premiums.

DriveWise Drivers will receive a small, wireless device to plug into their vehicle’s OBD port under the dashboard of most vehicles that will track and record their driving behavior. “Ohio is one of a handful of states that offers the DriveWise program,” says Frank Lengal of Lengal Financial. “With teen drivers and college commuters back on the road, we want to promote and reward Allstate’s safe driving program so that drivers can earn big savings while pursuing their education. Drivers can also earn up to 60 per cent in savings if they receive the full Drive Wise Performance Rating discount combined with other safe driving discounts.” No GPS data is collected. DriveWise drivers are more likely to receive the performance based discounts if they meet the following criteria:

   •      Mileage- Drive approximately 35-40 miles or less per day.
   •     Speed- Drive at lower speeds
   •     Hours- Typically drive between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 5 a.m. on weekends
   •     Breaking- Avoid hard stops

Drivers can view their performance online and also receive a 10 per cent discount on their premiums upon enrolling. The DriveWise input device collects data per car and will be used to create the Performance Rating Discount on a per vehicle basis. Data collected through the DriveWise program will not be used in calculating a driver’s car insurance premium.

Lengal Financial a division of Allstate Insurance was founded in 2003 and has over 70 years combined insurance experience. Types of insurance offered are, home, Ohio auto insurance, business, life insurance, motorcycle insurance, personal boat, personal liability, landlord, renters and accident forgiveness.
