Lawson-Hawks Acquires Dillenback & LoManto Insurance Agency of Monterey; Inhabits New Offices in Mountain View

April 20, 2005
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - John Miller, Chief Executive Officer of Lawson-Hawks Insurance Associates, announced two momentous events in the history of the sixty-eight year old insurance brokerage intermediary. During the week of April 1, 2005, Lawson-Hawks both closed on its acquisition of the assets of Dillenback & LoManto, an independent multi-lines insurance brokerage in Monterey, California, and occupied their new corporate headquarters at 1091 N. Shoreline Blvd. in Mountain View, California.
"While these two events are seemingly unrelated, both are indicative of the growth and direction of Lawson-Hawks," said Miller. "Joining forces with Joe LoManto and his folks at the Dillenback & LoManto firm in Monterey is a wonderful move for both companies. While D & L now has a technically proficient partner with excellent systems, markets and a depth of skills in underwriting commercial and personal lines insurance risks, Lawson-Hawks becomes the beneficiary of an historic insurance family concern on the Monterey Peninsula where relationships, integrity and service have been the benchmarks of their fifty-year presence," added Miller.
"In relocating to our new office complex and campus in Mountain View, we are fulfilling a dream of several years to expand our physical plant while creating a wonderful work environment for our employees," continued Miller. The new corporate home of Lawson-Hawks, southwest of the intersection of Shoreline Boulevard and Highway 101 in Mountain View, is an ultra-modern office complex of over 35,000 square feet which has been remodeled to accommodate the insurance brokerage firm. "This beautiful facility provides our employees and clients alike with a stimulating, visually attractive and highly functional edifice," added Miller.
"To a very real extent, the acquisition of the Dillenback & LoManto firm and the near simultaneous move to our new corporate home is evidential of one of Lawson-Hawks strengths; combining historic values, humanity and integrity with state-of-the-art systems, technology and client fulfillment capabilities," Miller said.
