Jason Sadler Named CEO of CIGNA International Health, Life & Accident
PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jason Sadler has been appointed to lead the Health, Life & Accident (HL&A) operations of CIGNA International, a world leader in direct marketed global health, accident and life insurance, effective July 19, 2010. Sadler will be based in Hong Kong and report to CIGNA International President William L. Atwell. He will be responsible for leading and expanding CIGNA's HL&A business globally.

Sadler spent the last 16 years at HSBC serving in leadership positions with increasing responsibility in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Hong Kong. He most recently held the position of managing director for the insurance business for Hong Kong, responsible for the life, general, medical and corporate retirement business. Under Sadler’s leadership and for the first time in HSBC history, all four businesses lines were rated #1 in their respective segments for new business premiums in 2009.
Prior to that, Sadler held management positions with AXA Insurance in the UK and Zurich Financial Services. Sadler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business studies from Swansea University in Wales, United Kingdom. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
