Janney Continues Public Finance Growth; Adds Two Experienced Professionals to Team

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Janney Capital Markets announced that it has hired John Kelly, Managing Director, and Elizabeth Caputo, Director, to join the Firm’s growing Public Finance team. With more than 30 years of combined experience in the financial services industry, the addition of Kelly and Caputo reaffirms Janney’s continued momentum and rising standing as a top destination for industry talent.

At Janney, Kelly will focus on large governmental issuers. Previously associated with PNC Capital Markets, Philadelphia Gas Works and York Water Company, over the course of his 20 year career he has worked with a variety of public finance issuers, ranging from the City of Philadelphia to the Pennsylvania Turnpike. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Harvard University.

With over 10 years of experience, Caputo joins Janney most recently from Stifel Nicolaus where she spent the past three years as a First Vice President/Public Finance. During that time, she was responsible for the launch of their East Coast public finance office. At Janney, she will remain focused on middle market municipal issuers in the State of New York. She holds an M.B.A. from Harvard School of Business.

Kelly will work from Janney’s Philadelphia headquarters and Caputo from Janney’s New York City institutional office. Both will report directly to Henson.
