Intralinks Holdings reported the appointment of Ken MacCuish as senior vice president of security, quality and compliance, and chief information security officer.
MacCuish will lead Intralinks' information security and risk management strategy, and drive efforts to further enhance the company's quality and compliance programs.
According to a release from the company, MacCuish is a security veteran, with more than a decade of experience implementing and maintaining information security programs in a variety of companies, from early stage startups to Fortune 500 firms such as Raytheon and JP Morgan. Most recently, MacCuish served as the global head of information security for Bain Capital in Boston where he successfully led corporate efforts around risk reduction and security improvement.
"Ken has been a transformational figure in many organizations, successfully leading new security initiatives at a time when security and regulatory compliance issues are top of mind," said Intralinks chief executive officer Ronald Hovsepian. "Intralinks is trusted by customers to manage their most sensitive information during highly strategic and regulated activities, like an M&A transaction or clinical trial. This trust hinges on us having world- class security infrastructure and a deep understanding of the regulatory environment. We're excited to have Ken on board lead these efforts."
