Insurance Training Institute Organizes Marketing Course
Lagos, Jul 06, 2010 (Daily Champion/All Africa Global Media via COMTEX) -- An immediate challenge that faces the Nigerian Insurance Industry is the need for sizeable volume of production. This means that marketing is key in all business endeavour particularly in the contemporary insurance world.
Managers in the insurance industry are expected to perform to the desire and aspiration of their companies' shareholders. The major yardstick to measure the managers'performance is the ability and natural willingness to do good job in terms of production.
To equip the managers in business world in general and those in the insurance industry in particular, the Insurance Training Institute is organizing a four - day training course on Strategic Marketing Management at Cross River State Library Complex, Calabar from July 21 to 23.
The resource persons expected at the workshop are: A. A. Falade, a life and pensions consultant; O. Owen who is a training consultant; Tiamiyu Ahmed an insurance practitioner among others.
According to a release signed by mr. V. A. Adeyemi who is a Faculty Member, Insurance Training Institute, the course is expected to sharpen the skill of marketing managers in the Nigerian economy.
