Horizon NJ Health Awarded Commendable Accreditation by NCQA

Horizon NJ Health, New Jersey’s largest Medicaid and NJFamilyCare managed healthcare organization, today announced that it has earned a Commendable Accreditation status from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Horizon NJ Health is a wholly owned subsidiary of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.

NCQA Health Plan Accreditation is a nationally recognized program that evaluates the quality of health care services that health plans provide to their members. Health Plan Accreditation performance results are publicly reported in five categories including: Access and Service, Qualified Providers, Staying Healthy, Getting Better and Living with Illness.
