Home Health Software Provider Kinnser Software Contributes $150,000 to Austin Children’s Shelter
“Innovation is one of our core values. After visiting ACS, we knew that we wanted to support ACS’ innovative programs, which develop capable and independent members of our local community,” said Hester. “ACS provides a safe place to build skills to overcome life’s challenges and lead successful lives. Kinnser’s contribution to ACS is part of our ongoing efforts to support organizations that deliver real solutions to challenging problems.”
Incidence of child abuse and neglect are at alarming levels.
“We are thrilled to welcome
Approximately 70 percent of the Shelter’s funding comes from community support, and as the agency grows to serve more children and youth, this support is vital. In 2010, ACS more than tripled the number of shelter care days provided over the previous year and it can potentially double that number in 2011 with increased support.
