Hannover Life Re Rolls Out a New Version of Ascent [Health & Beauty Close – Up]

Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America "Hannover Life Re," announced the launch of a new version of Ascent.

The new version was released March 1.

Ascent is a web-based guide providing current information for assessing risks. Ascent is designed to meet the needs of Underwriters at all experience levels. Ascent incorporates a wealth of supporting documentation, illustrations, considerations, and other tools.

The Company reported that this latest release includes updates to numerous medical conditions based on the latest medical research. Along with other significant updates to the manual, we have added and/or revised a number of medical calculators. Among these new enhancements is the new CAD disease severity calculator. This interactive heart diagram takes the guesswork out of determining coronary disease severity by allowing the user to select the amount of coronary obstruction in each vessel from dropdown boxes, while the disease severity level is updated in real-time.
