HSBC Global Asset Management appoints new World Selection(TM) sub-advisor
VANCOUVER, May 25 /CNW/ - HSBC Global Asset Management (Canada) Limited has added a new sub-advisor to the group of best-in-class investment managers for the World Selection(TM) Portfolios.
Effective May 18, 2010, Picton Mahoney Asset Management was appointed sub-advisor to HSBC MultiAlpha Canadian Equity Pooled Fund, and will co-manage this Fund with Toronto-based Scheer Rowlett & Associates Investment Management Ltd.
HSBC MultiAlpha Pooled Funds have the flexibility to leverage the expertise of multiple managers with complementary styles providing investors with an additional level of diversification and the opportunity over time to enhance their potential risk adjusted return.
HSBC MultiAlpha Pooled Funds managers also include: Alliance Bernstein, Cohen & Steers Capital Management; Eaton Vance Management; Los Angeles Capital Management; Martin Currie Inc.; Mawer Investment Management; Rainier Investment Management; Scheer, Rowlett & Associates; Winslow Capital Management; Westfield Capital Management Company, LLC; and HSBC Global Asset Management (Canada) Limited.
World Selection is a discretionary portfolio management service that gives HSBC investors access to some of the world's leading investment managers.
