NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Guidepost Solutions LLC announced today the launch of its new Sport and Entertainment practice. Guidepost Sport and Entertainment offers a full range of security and risk management solutions for sport and entertainment facilities, leagues, major events and professionals. Central to Guidepost Sport and Entertainment's approach is to achieve an optimal balance of safety, security, and compliance to best prevent, prepare for and react to today’s uncertainties.

The Guidepost Sport and Entertainment practice’s services include investigations, compliance, and anti-fraud capabilities, along with the design and implementation of security systems and solutions and the development of emergency and crisis management plans. The practice also provides security and protection services for athletes, entertainers and fans.

Guidepost Sport and Entertainment will be led by Dan Donovan, Director. Mr. Donovan, formerly the CEO of Inocon Group, has extensive experience providing crisis management and security services to the NFL, college and professional stadiums and Olympic organizers, amongst others. Mr. Donovan will work closely with Matthew V. Wharton, Guidepost’s Senior Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer and a 30 year veteran consulting on enterprise security.

Mr. Wharton’s experience in stadium security design and implementation compliments his extensive track record in the gaming and hospitality markets. The practice’s offering will integrate with Guidepost’s existing low voltage technology, design and management services unit, which operates as SafirRosetti – a Guidepost Solutions Company – and serves a broad set of industry sectors.
