Great American Insurance Group Names Jeffrey Cruey as Divisional President

Great American Insurance Group announced the promotion of Jeffrey (Jeff) Cruey to Divisional President of its Specialty Property and Casualty AgriBusiness Division.
In a release, Great American said Cruey joined the Company in 2011 as a Divisional Senior Vice President within the Specialty Human Services (SHS) Division where he managed the Underwriting, Marketing and Operations functions.
Prior to joining Great American, Cruey was formerly the Vice President of Commercial Lines at Ohio Casualty Insurance/Liberty Mutual Agency Markets. He has more than 30 years of underwriting, product development and management experience in property and casualty insurance operations.
Cruey has earned a CPCU designation, as well as several other industry designations.
Great American's AgriBusiness Division specializes in coverage for full-time operating farms and ranches and agricultural operations. Its product line includes a farm/ranch package (AgriPak), auto and umbrella (AgriGuard), a specialized agricultural package product (AgriPro) for commercial agricultural operations, and specialized programs and coverages for dairy farms (DairyPak), seed merchants, hog confinement operations and vegetable farms.
Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, the operations of Great American Insurance Group are engaged primarily in property and casualty insurance, focusing on specialty commercial products for businesses, and in the sale of traditional fixed and fixed-indexed annuities in the retail, financial institutions and education markets.
