General Re-New England Asset Management Strengthens Team [Professional Services Close – Up]

Jerry Lynch, Chairman and CEO of General Re-New England Asset Management, Inc. (GR-NEAM) announced that Mark M. Yu has joined GR- NEAM as an Enterprise Risk Management professional.

Yu is responsible for GR-NEAM's capital management and enterprise risk activities for life insurance companies, reporting to Jim Bachman Ph.D., Vice President Capital Management, GR-NEAM.

Bill Rotatori, President of GR-NEAM, said, "Enterprise risk management plays an increasingly important role in product development and asset management within the life insurance industry as new regulatory schemes are adopted and demographics evolve in the United States. Yu has over 13 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to joining GR-NEAM, Yu was a senior risk manager within the Governance and Strategy team at AIG Enterprise Risk Management. Prior to working at AIG ERM, he was a Senior Vice President and Treasury Director within the Group Capital Management division of Swiss Re.

GR-NEAM is an SEC-registered investment advisor that specializes in offering capital and investment management services primarily to the insurance industry.
