FTP, Inc. Chooses Click2Bind, Inc To Develop Insurance Rating Software
FTP, INC. is a general insurance agency (wholesaler) based in Old Bridge, New Jersey. The Agency was established in 1957 by Frank Powell Sr. and originally traded as the "Powell Insurance Agency". In the early 1960's Tom Powell and Pat "PJ" Powell joined the Agency.
FTP, Inc. generates its business through it's network of licensed insurance brokers and the Agency represents both admitted and non-admitted insurance companies and offers over 100 insurance programs including property and casualty as well as commercial and personal lines.
Additionally, markets are available for almost all classes of business or situations on a package or mono-line basis.
Recently, FTP, Inc., was looking for a innovative and highly responsive technology partner to develop insurance rating software and other tools to bring some of their quoting and binding business online for use by their retail agents. After talking with Click2Bind, the choice was clear and they chose Click2Bind as their technology partner.
Initially, Click2Bind was tasked with developing a comparative HO3, HO6, DP1 and DP3 rater. In addition to the comparative rater, Click2Bind also developed an application process that allowed agents to submit directly to underwriters for approval and then, if approved, the agents could print a binder. This fluid work-flow now happens in minutes and saves time and effort for both agents and underwriters making both sides more efficient.
Another time saving, bottom line enhancing achievement was realized when Click2Bind implemented technology that eliminated dual entry from the web into OMNI (FTP's agency management system MCYBER ).
Now, when an application is approved, all policy data is transmitted via a secure IPSec tunnel into OMNI. This happens instantly with no human interaction required.
Click2Bind is currently working on a comparative General Liability and Commercial Property project for FTP.
Click2Bind is a technology firm based out of Wilmington, NC that specializes in developing online insurance rating software and policy issuance systems. Visit them online at http://www.click2bind.com or call (910)313-3362
