David Boone Named CEO of Dallas-Based Paranet

David Boone, a longtime corporate executive with experience in industries ranging from retail to media and healthcare, has been named chief executive officer of Paranet, an international provider of IT outsourcing and CRM solutions.

In his new role, Boone will work to drive synergies among Paranet’s three core businesses – managed and professional services, IT staffing and recruitment and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – to empower companies of all sizes with a proven, higher level of care.

Most recently, Boone served as senior vice president of Innovation and Retail Health Services at Methodist Health System, where his responsibilities included packaging and developing Methodist’s innovative employee health and wellness initiatives for employers and insurers.

Boone served previously as CEO of American CareSource Holdings, a NASDAQ-traded national manager of ancillary health benefits, from 2005 to 2011. During his tenure, the company’s revenues grew from $5 million to $68 million.

Boone’s other experience includes the media, food manufacturing, financial and retail industries. He was senior vice president of finance at Dallas-based Belo Corp., vice president of corporate development for Safeway, vice president of business development at Plano-based Frito Lay and director of development for CIGNA Healthcare. He was also named the 2009 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

Boone received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1989 and his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
