Citizens Insurance And The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation Award Scholarships To 9 Local Students

HOWELL, Mich., May 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Citizens Insurance and The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation, Inc. announced today that it has awarded 9 scholarships to local, public high school students and children of employees of The Hanover Insurance Group.

This year, The Hanover awarded a total of 52 scholarships nationwide, for a total of over $74,500. Since beginning the program in 2004, the company has provided over $460,000 in scholarships to students who have excelled academically, while demonstrating leadership and a commitment to community service.
