CapWealth Advisors Investment Firm Expands Family Wealth Management Focus; Hires High Net Worth Investment Officer

FRANKLIN, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Independent investment firm CapWealth Advisors LLC has added Phoebe J. Venable to its team of family investment professionals as managing principal, Tim Pagliara, chairman and chief executive officer, announced today. Venable joins a staff of professionals supporting the firm’s growing base of wealth management clientele throughout the region.

A chartered financial analyst charterholder, Venable comes to CapWealth (www.capwealthadvisors.com) from the Nashville office of GenSpring Family Offices, an independent wealth management firm for ultra-high net worth families. In 2009, Venable launched the Nashville location and was the investment advisor for client families in the Southeastern U.S. She also served on the company’s national leadership team and conducted family education programs across the United States.

“Phoebe will be an excellent addition to our executive team and brings extensive experience working with ultra-high net worth families,” Pagliara said. “She understands the special challenges they face and is well equipped to help them grow and manage their wealth. She also shares our core values and intense dedication to helping our clients succeed. We’re all looking forward to working with her.”

Venable began her financial career in 1987 with SunTrust Bank, later becoming an investment portfolio manager, providing money management services to Trust clients and high net worth families. She was promoted in 2002 to first vice president and private client advisor and in 2005 moved to SunTrust Bank in Nashville as managing director of private wealth management, also serving on the division’s senior leadership team.

She has both a Bachelor's degree (Mathematics) and an MBA (Finance and Economics) from Murray State University. In addition to holding the designation Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), she also is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) through the Institute of Certified Bankers and holds certifications from both the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University and the Regional Trust School at Samford University. Venable is a member of the Nashville Society of Financial Analysts.
