Aug 04, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Builders Insurance Group, a US-based company engaged in providing workers' compensation, general liability and property insurance, has announced that Owen Dwoskin will assume the post of CFO.
Mr Dwoskin will assume his position, taking over for Renee Pinczes who recently left the company. He will be responsible for day to day financial operations, including financial reporting and record-keeping, asset management, financial modeling and forecasting.
His previous experience includes 14 years with KPMG, a provider of audit, tax and advisory services, where he specialized in the audit of a variety of insurance clients throughout the region, including six years as the senior manager for Builders Insurance Group. Most recently, he served on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board of the Securities and Exchange Commission, inspecting accounting firm audits of publicly traded companies.
Patrick Mitchell, president and CEO for Builders Insurance Group, said: "We are pleased to welcome Owen to our leadership team and look forward to his contributions. His strong background and familiarity with the property and casualty insurance industry will support the company's continued expansion of our products and services to existing and new customers."
