BrokerLink to Add Insurance Brokerages from Ottawa Area [Professional Services Close – Up]

Three full service insurance brokerages operating in the Ottawa- Carleton area announced that they will join BrokerLink, a Canadian property and casualty insurance brokerages.

In a release, the Company noted that terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The three brokerages, Baizana Insurance Brokers, Pentagon Insurance Brokers and Lalonde Insurance Brokers, are based in Barrhaven, Orleans and Rockland and Cornwall, respectively.

"The addition of these three insurance brokerages is a natural extension of our strategy to expand our offering to Ottawa region consumers," said Paul Meyer, Head of the Ontario Region at BrokerLink. "The local knowledge and expertise of the brokerages and their staff will allow us to better serve consumers."

The three insurance brokerages will be integrated into BrokerLink, bringing its existing network of offices in Ontario and in Alberta to 66.

John Baizana, President of Baizana Insurance Brokers, will be joining BrokerLink as the Regional Branch Manager for the Ottawa area operations.
