Co reported it completed the consolidation of manufacturing operations in the U.S. into its existing Dutch manufacturing facility, supplemented with U.S. based contract manufacturing at ACDI, a manufacturing services firm based in Frederick, Maryland. The changes are part of a series of anticipated restructuring initiatives announced April 12, 2010 that are designed to strengthen the co's financial and operational framework. These actions are expected to increase operational efficiency and should generate annualized savings of approximately $2.0 mln in 2011, with partial savings expected this year.

GSK GlaxoSmithKline and Genmab announce amendment to Ofatumumab agreement (33.61 -0.40)
Co and Genmab announced an amendment to the ofatumumab co-development and commercialisation agreement. Under the terms of the amendment, GSK will take responsibility for developing ofatumumab in autoimmune indications whilst continuing to jointly develop ofatumumab with Genmab in oncology indications. Genmab will receive an upfront payment of GBP 90 mln from GSK. Genmab's future funding commitment for the development of ofatumumab in oncology indications will be capped at a total of GBP 145 mln, including a yearly spending cap of GBP 17 mln for each of the next six years starting with 2010. Future milestones due to Genmab under the oncology development programme will be reduced by 50%.

It has cut the rally in half at 1016 (pullback low 1016) in recent action with the 62% retrace at 1014. A stabilization near these levels would leave the positive set off the low intact. Co announced Ford, Lincoln and Mercury first half sales totaled 954,745, up 28 percent versus year ago; June sales totaled 170,900, up 15 percent -- New 2011 F-Series Super Duty and Mustang models are off to a fast start. Super Duty sales were up 58 percent in June versus year ago; Mustang retail sales increased 37 percent. Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealers delivered 170,900 new vehicles in June - a 15 percent increase versus a year ago. Year-to-date sales totaled 954,745, up 28 percent with growth across Ford's full family of cars (up 27 percent), utilities (up 24 percent) and trucks (up 32 percent). Sales for the 2011 F-Series Super Duty were 58 percent higher than a year ago, capturing more than 50 percent of the heavy duty pickup segment - believed to be the first time since year 2000 that Super Duty has achieved a 50 percent share.

Co announced the filing of an initial Form 10 Registration Statement with SEC. The Mobile Devices and Home businesses will be separated from Motorola and operate as Motorola Mobility. Co has established a new wholly owned subsidiary, Motorola SpinCo Holdings, which filed today's Form 10 Registration Statement. Co announced that it has, through a wholly-owned subsidiary, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire an approximate 48% equity ownership interest in NuGen Energy. REX has agreed to acquire its ownership interest for $9.2 mln with a commitment of up to an additional $6.5 mln based upon the future profitability of NuGen. Upon completion, the investment will increase REX's overall ownership interest of annual nameplate capacity ethanol production by approximately 33%. GVP announced the formation of GSE-UNIS, a limited liability company formed by GSE and Beijing based UNIS. GSE-UNIS will be headquartered in Beijing, China. The Joint Venture, which has been submitted to the Chinese government for formal registration, will be 51% owned by UNIS and 49% owned by GSE. Upon receipt of Chinese government approval, UNIS will contribute projects, technology, simulation engineers, and approximately $1.5 million in working capital. GSE will contribute projects, technology, simulation engineers, facilities and approximately $1.4 million in working capital. GSE-UNIS has received its Certificate of Approval from the China Commission of Commerce and expects its formal Business License to be issued on or around July 15, 2010 at which time GSE-UNIS will be empowered to enter into formal contracts with its customers and begin to recognize revenue. The largest shareholder of UNIS is Tsinghua University, a technology university in China.

Repairs and alterations performed during the planned dockside availability of the icebreaker are in the second phase of the cutter's overhaul.
