Proquest LLC
Borden Hamman Agency (BHA), an independent marketing organization based out of Dallas, Texas, has announced plans to merge Barry J. Fisher Insurance Marketing, Inc. (BJFIM), a provider of long-term care insurance brokerage, into the BHA organization effective February 1, 2013.
Christi Daughenbaugh, President and COO of BHA, said, "We are excited about the merger with BJFIM and the explosive impact we believe adding their long term care insurance expertise to our organization will bring for all of the agents and advisors we will be working with. Long term care insurance has been an important component of our business, and this significantly anchors our ongoing commitment to the importance of helping Americans plan for how to manage the long term care financial risk."
BJFIM principals Barry Fisher and Susan Blais believe that this merger is an exciting culmination to a record setting sales year for the agency. "Agent and advisor education, training and service have been the keys to BJFIM success for the past 17 years. Supplementing our existing operations with the technology and process advantages BHA brings to the relationship will allow us to expand our business in California, Texas and to other selected areas of the country."
The entire BJFIM Team will join the BHA organization and Barry Fisher and Susan Blais will assume active management of all national long-term care insurance marketing efforts for the BHA organization.
