BUMI Here includes software to create a private cloud for backup and recovery. It leverages existing IT infrastructure and provides complete control over backups and where they are stored. This solution is designed for organizations that need to keep backups in-house and have an additional site for replication. BUMI software is installed on a dedicated server on The Morét Group’s network and connects to a NAS device provided by BUMI. When a scheduled data backup begins, data is transferred within The Morét Group’s own network to the server installed with the BUMI client software. After data reaches this server it is analyzed for any data blocks that have changed or are new since the last backup. Those data blocks are compressed and encrypted using military-grade encryption. The data is then transmitted over The Morét Group’s local network to the BUMI system server and stored in a compressed and encrypted format on the BUMI-provided NAS. After the local backup is fi¬nished, the encrypted data is then replicated to one of The Morét Group’s secondary off site locations that also runs the BUMI system software.

BUMI There is a cloud backup and recovery solution leveraging BUMI’s data centers. It requires no onsite equipment, enabling organizations to completely off-load their backup operations to BUMI.
