BRIEF: MSSU football to have walk-on tryouts Saturday

May 15--The Missouri Southern football team will have a walk-on tryout on Saturday. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. at Robert Ellis Young Gymnasium.

A current physical (within six months) must be on file with the athletic department or brought to the tryout.

In addition to a physical, participants must also have a copy of their medical insurance and complete a sickle cell trait screening or they may decline the screening. Participants must sign an MSSU tryout waiver clause, register with the NCAA Clearinghouse and apply to Missouri Southern.

Participants should wear weather appropriate athletic clothing and bring gym shoes and cleats. For more information, call coach Daryl Daye at 417-625-9358.
