BRIEF: BayHawks make several moves to front office, staffs [Erie Times-News, Pa.]

Oct. 22--The Erie BayHawks moved Jeff Javorek to assistant coach Monday as the NBA D-League franchise announced several changes to its front office and basketball operations staffs.

Javorek joins Ben McDonald as an assistant to coach Gene Cross, as the BayHawks will have two assistant coaches for the first time in team history. Javorek joined the BayHawks as an intern for the 2011-12 season before being promoted to director of basketball operations for the 2012-13 campaign.

Former intern Matt Lilly will take over as director of basketball operations, and Reggie King, a former player at Winthrop University, will join the staff as a basketball operations assistant.

Meanwhile, Maggie Neil has been hired as director of entertainment, and Conor McGartland and Chris Welch have joined the team as account executives.

Three staff members also received promotions: Dave McLean to vice president of ticket sales, Jared Eller to director of sales, and Jason Vaughan to director of marketing and communications. All three are entering their third season with the BayHawks.

The BayHawks open the season Nov. 22 at Erie Insurance Arena against the Canton Charge.
